Weekly Results and 3 Questions about Weight Reduction

So today I want to tell you all about my Results from this week and talk about three questions I am often asked by my clients that are trying to reduce their weight.

I am Katharine and it is my mission to introduce and support a healthy lifestyle to mature women wanting to thrive in life and achieve their goals.

So I am a little disappointed by my results this week as I didn't see the scale go down. I did lose inches so that is awesome, and my energy has increased. I feel good, my snacking is down. All really great things.
So like the rest of the world I need to change my perspective and be happy with the results that I am getting and stop worrying about the scale.

Ok so three questions I get asked all the time by my clients.

First do I have to Journal?
The answer to this is a resounding yes!

Second; Do I have to give up bread?
So this one is a little more difficult. The short answer is yes. But in reality it is dependent on your ability to process bread and what type of bread it is. I always recommend that you give up wheat when you are on a weight reduction program as you will see results faster.

Third; what do I eat. This is a loaded question. Everyone is different and processes food differently. We all need to experiment to see what works for us. When I am asked this question I just give people an example of my eating throughout the day when I am in reduction mode. My eating window starts at 10 or 10:30 and usually with a protein bar. I will sometimes have a piece of fruit also, then my main meal of the day happens at lunch time. It is usually some form of protein and vegetables. We have a few different ways of preparing our food. I have a snack in the afternoon with more fruit or nuts, then a protein shake in the evening with greens and fibre. That is a typical day for me. If you reduce the things that you know are not good for you then reducing weight becomes easy. Then once you reach your goal you can start to add things back in and see how your body reacts.

Like I mentioned last week it is important that you should be having about half your weight in grams of protein per day, as well as half your weight in ounces of water everyday.

So even though I had a bad reaction to my results they were actually pretty great. Extra energy and reduced appetite work very well for me. We have heard testimonials that the products have increased hunger in those that need it so we are seeing the products working synergistically with the body.
