What I Can Eat to Feel Full Longer?

I am often asked what I can eat to feel full longer. This is a great question.

There are several types of foods that can help keep you feeling full and satisfied for longer periods of time, such as:

  • Protein-rich foods: Protein takes longer to digest than carbohydrates or fat, so eating protein-rich foods can help you feel full for longer. Good sources of protein include lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, legumes, and nuts.
  • Fiber-rich foods: Foods high in fiber can help slow down the digestion process and keep you feeling full. Good sources of fiber include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and nuts.
  • Healthy fats: Eating healthy fats like those found in avocados, nuts, seeds, and fatty fish can help you feel full and satisfied. Healthy fats can also help improve cholesterol levels and lower the risk of heart disease.
  • Water-rich foods: Foods with a high water content, like fruits and vegetables, can help you feel full without adding many calories. Plus, staying hydrated is important for overall health.
  • Low-calorie, high-volume foods: Some foods, like non-starchy vegetables, are low in calories but high in volume, which can help you feel full without overeating. Examples of non-starchy vegetables include leafy greens, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, and tomatoes.

Incorporating these types of foods into your meals and snacks can help you feel full and satisfied, which can in turn help you eat fewer calories overall and support your weight loss or weight maintenance goals. Coupled with intermittent fasting you will reach your goals in no time.

Just remember to focus on a balanced and varied diet that includes plenty of whole, nutrient-dense foods.
