This week I thought I would talk about the little bits of toxic things that we let into our lives. We need to avoid many of the toxins that sneak into our days by avoiding products that have them in them.
Toxins are a big part of why our bodies have a hard time doing the things we want and need them to do. The cleaner the products we use the easier it is for our systems to repair themselves. When we over expose ourselves to all these toxins it is hard for our bodies to filter them out. So things like floride, chlorine can be very hard to avoid but you can find filters that will filter them out of the water you have in your home. We need to watch the heavy metals we expose ourselves to as well as aluminum, teflon, and BPA’s. We use products that have artificial fragrances, or benzene, or phthalates. We eat things like vegetable oil and food dye and chemicals in our food.
Everything that we expose ourselves to increases our risk of something bad happening in our body. Most people say well a little bit won’t kill me. You are correct a little bit probably won't kill you right now but what effect will it have on your future and the future of your children. We need to limit our exposure to any of the toxins we find in our environment. It is like I say when I am talking about food the more whole foods we eat the better off we are. Well the same thing applies here. The more natural the products we use the less stress we are putting our bodies through.
By making small changes in your lifestyle you can start to eliminate many of the toxins we expose ourselves to. Some of the changes are really easy, some take a little more time to get used to.
Check out the products that you use on your skin. These are some of the worst things that we expose ourselves to. Many have lots of things that are not great for the human body, look up some of the ingredients on the internet and see what types of things you are putting on your body. There are many products out there that are much better for your body.
So try to make a change this week, switch out some of the harmful products that you are using for cleaner products. If you are already using clean products, good for you.
